Patrick is a higher education financing specialist who has spent the majority of his adult life helping individuals and families achieve a college degree by helping them understand and navigate an increasingly complex financial aid process. He is particularly well-versed in federally guaranteed and credit-based financing options in addition to the income-driven repayment plans available to both parent and student federal loan holders. He is a former financial aid administrator with experience in sales management, product development and legislative analysis.

Patrick is a doctoral candidate in Educational Policy and Leadership and is currently working with a team of researchers to study the factors that lead to successful outcomes in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. He is also a volunteer for multiple financial aid association committees focused on counselor outreach, financial literacy and government relations.

Patrick lives in the Greater Capital Region of New York with his wife and three children. In his limited spare time, he is an active volunteer with the Knights of Columbus and enjoys the beauty of upstate New York and time with family. He has also served as Town Supervisor and spent seven years on his community’s award-winning School District’s Board of Education.
