Lindsay is a high school counselor with over 12 years of experience working in the second largest and most diverse high school in Charleston, SC.  Originally from New York, Lindsay earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and Elementary Education from Mount St. Mary College before moving to Charleston, SC where she earned her Master’s degree in Secondary School Counseling from The Citadel and finally her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion from the University of South Carolina.  

Lindsay’s passion is supporting all students regardless of their backgrounds or ability levels throughout their high school years so they can achieve their postsecondary goals and dreams.  Her favorite part about being a counselor is getting to know her students and their families so she can customize their graduation plans and use her research skills to identify scholarships and opportunities tailored to their diverse academic disciplines, backgrounds, and career paths. 

As a Scholarship Search Specialist, Lindsay is dedicated to creating pathways for students to overcome financial obstacles and pursue their educational ambitions while eliminating some of their stress during the process.
